Microsoft has released .NET 10, its most modern and intelligent platform yet. The LTS release introduces built-in AI integration via the new Microsoft Agent Framework, combining technologies such as Semantic Kernel and AutoGen to let developers build and orchestrate multi-agent systems within .NET.
It also expands Model Context Protocol (MCP) support for secure, composable AI capabilities, while delivering major performance gains, language updates in C# 14 and F# 10, and deeper Copilot integration in Visual Studio 2026 and VS Code.
